Sending Lots of Love your Way & a Giveaway!

Hello Friends!

It's been warming up here at the Jersey Shore! We have reached temps in the mid 50's and even saw a temp of 63 degrees this past week! YES I want Spring to hurry up :)   So today I want to share a card that I made that just makes me smile and reminds me of Spring!

I used a Lemon Lime Twist card base with a Whisper White layer and a Grapefruit Grove layer on top. I used the Lace Dynamic Textured Impressions embossing folder to create a little bit of embossing on a diagonal. This was a bit tricky but I do love that the top half is beautifully embossed and the lower half is flat, perfect for stamping that sentiment! The sentiment is from the Incredible like you Stamp set (Spring Occasions Catalog) and was stamped in Momento Tuxedo Black ink. 

I added some Lemon Lime Twist organdy ribbon (Free SAB item) on the diagonal to compliment how I did the embossing and created a nice bow. I added a nice layer off to the side. I used Lemon Lime Twist from the Gingham Gala DSP and layered it onto some Whisper White. This layer is popped up on dimensionals. I die cut the Grapefruit Grove flowers and the Basic Black leafy vine using the Petals & More Thinlits Dies. Added a bit of wink of stella to give some shimmer and added it to the word, "amazing" in the sentiment too. I also die cut a leafy vine out of Grapefruit Grove and added a bit of wink of stella and placed it on the inside, alongside the sentiment, "Sending lots of love your way" which is from the Life is Grand Stamp set. :)  Here you can see the inside of the card.

RECIPE:

Base- Basic Black 4-1/4 x 5-1/2

Layer 1- Whisper White 4-1/8 x 5-1/4

Layer 2- Grapefruit Grove 4 x 5-1/8 

DSP Layer (Gingham Gala DSP, OC)- 1-3/8" x 3-3/4

Layer behind DSP- Whisper White 1-3/4 x 4

Stamps- Incredible Like You (OC), Life is Grand (OC)

Inks- Momento Tuxedo Black

Dies- Petals & More Thinlits Dies

Embossing Folder- Lace Dynamic Textured Impressions

Ribbon- Organdy Ribbon Combo Pack (Free SAB)

Extras- Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Brush
